How long does delivery take?
Transit estimates start when your order is received at our warehouse. The United States takes about 4–6 weeks including the monthly dispatch cycle. New Zealand and Singapore are usually 3–5 business days, the rest of Asia 4–7 business days, and Europe and Canada 7–14 business days.
Can I combine orders from different sellers?
Yes. We can hold orders for up to 30 days from the first arrival and send them together. US orders join the next monthly dispatch.
Where can you deliver in the USA?
Delivery is available to all US states except Utah, Mississippi, Delaware, Rhode Island and Oklahoma.
Ordering
How do I purchase from an Australian seller?
Choose a winery, distillery or retailer, ask CellarJet for our receiving address before you check out, then place your order with that seller.
What do I do after I purchase?
Book a Shipment on CellarJet and email the original order confirmation or invoice for each purchase to support@getfreighted.com.au from the email address on your booking.
Is there a minimum shipment charge?
Shipping is priced in 6-bottle steps. Fewer than 6 bottles are charged at the 6-bottle rate. A 1.5 L magnum counts as 2 bottles.
Products
Can I ship spirits to the United States?
No. Spirits are not available to the United States. US shipments are limited to wine under 20% alcohol.
How many bottles can I send?
Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Italy allow up to 6 bottles per shipment. Other destinations allow up to 132 bottles (99 L) per shipment; larger orders need to be split into separate shipments.
Can I send larger bottles like magnums?
Yes, we can send larger format bottles such as magnums. They generally take up 2 spaces in the case, and your final shipping charge will be based on the packing requirements of the bottles.
Costs
When do I pay?
Pay nothing upfront. CellarJet sends a secure payment link prior to dispatch, with charges billed in AUD.
Are import duties and taxes included?
For destinations outside the United States, import duties and taxes are paid by you to the customs clearance agent when the parcel arrives. The US tariff is collected upfront. Check your country guide for the latest process.
Can I insure my shipment?
Insurance is recommended outside the United States and can be declined at your own risk. US insurance is mandatory. Final insurance charges are confirmed with the live estimate.
Is the calculator price final?
No. An estimate is indicative only. The final charge is based on the packed weight at dispatch, or the number of packed cases for US shipments.
Care
How are bottles packed?
CellarJet repacks shipments in recyclable boxes designed to protect glass bottles, with thermal protection against extreme weather.
What happens if a parcel is damaged?
Contact CellarJet as soon as you receive a damaged parcel. Keep the packaging and photographs so the team can review the shipment and advise on next steps.
